Marsai Martin started acting at 5-years-old in a commercial. When she was 10, she became one of the main characters on the tv sitcom Black-ish.
How It’s Going:
Today, Marsai Martin is a producer, a nine-time NAACP Image Award-winner, and the youngest person to ever get a first-look deal with a studio. She is an advocate for young women, pursues projects that elevate the Black community, and uses her platform to speak out against injustices of all kinds, including bullying, school lunch debt, and the Breonna Taylor case.
