HOW IT STARTED:

Irsa Hirsi, alongside Haven Coleman,  co-founded the U.S. Youth Climate Strike, a now global youth climate change movement which gained national attention . She also acts as co- director . 

HOW IT’S GOING:

 In 2019, she won a Brower Youth Award as well as received the Voice of the Future Award. Now in college, the 19 year old climate activist has numerous titles such as environmental justice organizer,  political consultant, Tik Tok star, and BLM activist. Her organization has helped over 10,000 young people strike in the name of climate justice.
