HOW IT STARTED:

Canada native Maitreyi Ramakrishnan was 17 years old when she sent in her audition tape which she recorded in her school library and landed the role of Devi Vishwakumar for Netflix’s teen comedy “Never Have I Ever”. She was one out of 15,000 other candidates .

HOW IT’S GOING:

With season 2 of Never Have I Ever under her belt and recently confirmed season three, Ramakrishnan is gearing up for her first big-screen role, playing Lizzie Bennet in Netflix’s The Netherfield Girls, a modern adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.
